During the late summer your dove field should be kept weed free with spot spraying. Fresh dirt strips should be maintained to provide using dove with grit. And alternative crop strips should be mowed or control burned to provide starter seed. Once the sunflower seed heads have dried, Orion can provide custom mowing or forage chopping to distribute seed over your fields. Orion also offers full field herbicide burn-down service with the use of hi-boy sprayers you prefer your field fully brown at the start of hunting season.
